Juan is an architectural designer with experience across a wide range of cultural and institutional projects. His approach stems from an appreciation and respect for the history of architecture, finding opportunities for learning, reflection, and innovation in designs from various cultures throughout time. He tackles the design process by looking at the project's nuances and particularities in order to tease out opportunities and advantages for any given scenario.

Born in 1983, he grew up in Argentina, Costa Rica, and Miami, Florida. He received his Masters of Architecture from Princeton University and a B. Arch from the Illinois Institute of Technology. With over ten years of professional work experience, he has worked at the offices of Reiser + Umemoto, Snøhetta, and FXCollaborative, and currently lives in New York City.
