Victoria Regis / Wide Span Structure

Victoria Regis is a study of a wide-span structure as characterized through its critical details. Influenced by the Victoria Regis Water Lily, native to the Brazilian Amazon, this wide-span structure begins with micro-lam ribs that flare outwards from a common center. As the rib’s center-line exceeds a six meter span when measured to its nearest neighbor, the micro-lam members begin branching outwards to keep all subsequent structural components a uniform length, as characterized by the Victoria Regis Water Lily.
